The mission of Advocates for Community and Rural Education is helping rural schools and communities survive and thrive. 

Members of Advocates for Community and Rural Education share a common vision for improving the communities of rural Arkansas that includes excellent schools that provide rural youth with access to a world-class education;  strong communities that make the most of their resources in an environmentally and culturally responsible manner, celebrate their rural heritage, and offer the best possible lifestyle to their residents as well as a prosperous future for their children; and committed citizens, who band together across geographic, socioeconomic, and racial barriers to affect state-wide policy that impacts their families, schools, and communities.
